About the company:
Our client is a sports technology company supporting the mass-participation sports industry across the region.
Their technology brings together different parts of the event journey — from participant registration and engagement to event operations, race timing, results, digital services and data solutions.
As the business continues to expand its technology capabilities, this is an opportunity to join a team where technology is closely connected to real customers, real operations and real sporting events.
About the role:
This is more than managing a software roadmap.
You’ll have a real say in what gets built, why it gets built and how different products work together.
You’ll work directly with Technology, Sales, Operations, Management and key clients, giving you exposure to both product strategy and real-world technology deployment.
You’ll also become one of the team's key product experts. When Sales needs deeper product knowledge for an important client, when Operations encounters a challenge during an event, or when developers need clarity on a feature, you’ll be one of the people connecting the dots.
This role is suited to someone ready to take meaningful ownership and grow towards broader product leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Shape the Product Roadmap: Translate business priorities, customer feedback and operational challenges into clear product requirements, user stories and development priorities.
- Own the Product from End to End: Build a deep understanding of the technology ecosystem and identify opportunities to improve usability, efficiency and scalability across different platforms.
- Connect Technology with the Business: Work closely with developers, Sales, Operations and Management to turn business problems into practical product solutions and keep everyone aligned.
- Support Strategic Clients: Join key client meetings, product demonstrations, tenders and proposals where your product and technical knowledge can help determine the right solution.
- Make Sure What Gets Built Works: Coordinate UAT, clarify requirements during development, support product releases and use feedback to continuously improve the product.
Requirements:
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Solutions Consulting, Software Project Management or a related technology role.
- Experience working with software development or technology teams.
- Experience working directly with clients, enterprise customers or business users.
- Experience translating business requirements into product or functional requirements.
- Experience managing multiple priorities or product initiatives.
- A background in SaaS, event technology, sports technology, ticketing, e-commerce, marketplaces, fintech or other digital platforms is an advantage.
- Technical knowledge of APIs, integrations, databases or system workflows is an advantage. Coding experience is not required.
Good-to-know
- This is a highly collaborative role. You won’t be working in a product bubble — expect regular interaction with Technology, Sales, Operations, Management and clients.
- Your work can ultimately influence how organisers run events, how participants experience them and how the business delivers its technology solutions.
- Benefits include 14 days annual leave, 14 days medical leave, RM800 annual outpatient claim, 7 days parenting leave, 3 months maternity leave and 3 days compassionate leave.
