Role Description The Test Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Senai, responsible for ensuring that electronic products and assemblies meet quality, reliability, and performance standards. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test procedures for production and engineering projects. The Test Engineer will execute functional testing on electronic assemblies and systems, analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to implement corrective actions. Daily tasks include optimizing test setups and fixtures, documenting test processes and reports, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company standards and relevant certifications. The role also requires close coordination with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance test coverage, throughput, and product quality.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Test Engineering, including designing and maintaining test plans and strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Test Execution and working with Test Cases for electronic products or assemblies.
• Proficiency in Testing methodologies, including Functional Testing for hardware and/or integrated systems.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, test specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, ICT/ATE systems, and functional testers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ISO-certified manufacturing environments and quality systems is an advantage.
• Relevant industry experience in EMS, electronics manufacturing, or similar environments is beneficial.
