Job Overview

Aomori Mart is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and results-driven Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our mini-market/retail outlet. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing a small team, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of shop presentation.

Key Responsibilities

· Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of the outlet, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control.

· Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate a small team of retail assistants and cashiers.

· Sales & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, order inventory, minimize wastage, and implement promotional activities to hit sales targets.

· Customer Service: Maintain a friendly, clean, and welcoming shopping environment. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

· Compliance: Ensure the outlet strictly follows health, safety, and local licensing regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Experience in the retail sector, grocery store, or mini-market (experience in a supervisory or managerial role is highly preferred).
• Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Language: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak local dialects is an added advantage.
• Attributes: Hands-on attitude, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work flexible hours (including weekends and public holidays).
• System Knowledge: Advantageous if you have experience using the ARMS GO retail/POS system.
• Proximity: Candidates living nearby or within the Jelapang / Manjoi / Ipoh area are highly encouraged to apply.
