Requirements

  • Minimum SPM/O-Level; Certificate or Diploma in Quality Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.

  • Previous experience in Quality Control or manufacturing is preferred.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

  • Able to use basic measuring and inspection tools.

  • Basic knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection methods.

  • Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to identify defects accurately.

  • Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Willing to work in a factory/manufacturing environment.

  • Working Hours

    • Monday to Saturday

    • 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

    • Willing to work onsite at Sunlight Industries Sdn. Bhd., Senai, Johor.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards.

  • Perform quality inspections and measurements according to established specifications and procedures.

  • Identify, record, and report product defects, abnormalities, and quality issues.

  • Conduct inspections at different stages of the production process.

  • Ensure production processes comply with quality requirements and work instructions.

  • Monitor and maintain quality control records, inspection reports, and related documentation.

  • Assist in investigating the root causes of quality problems and implementing corrective actions.

  • Work closely with the Production Department to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.

  • Perform sampling and testing of products according to inspection requirements.

  • Ensure measuring instruments and inspection equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.

  • Monitor rejected, defective, and non-conforming products and ensure proper segregation.

  • Assist in preparing quality reports and maintaining accurate QC documentation.

  • Follow company quality, safety, and work procedures at all times.

  • Support internal and external audits when required.

  • Perform other quality control duties assigned by management.
