Job Description:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Monitor production processes and ensure products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and production losses.
• Monitor production output, machine performance, manpower utilization, and material consumption.
• Ensure production activities comply with company procedures, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC), Maintenance, Warehouse, and other relevant departments to resolve production-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain daily production reports, including production output, rejection rates, downtime, and process performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce wastage, and control production costs.
• Supervise and guide production operators to ensure smooth daily operations and discipline on the production floor.
• Ensure machines, equipment, and production areas are maintained in good condition and meet housekeeping requirements.
• Monitor the usage of raw materials and ensure materials are available to support production schedules.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the superior.
• Job Requirement
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Polymer Technology, or a related field.
• Working Experience: Preferably 2–5 years of experience in production, preferably in the plastic manufacturing industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of production processes, machine troubleshooting, quality control, and production planning.
• Language Skills: Able to communicate in Mandarin is preferred to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and management.
• Computer Skills: Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and production reporting skills.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Working Attitude: Responsible, proactive, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
• Technical Knowledge Required
• Candidates with knowledge or experience in the following areas will be an advantage:
• Plastic manufacturing processes, such as injection moulding, extrusion, or blow moulding.
• Production machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Quality control and defect analysis.
• Production planning and process improvement.
• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and waste reduction.
• Workplace safety and production documentation.
