Responsibility

• Lead, supervise, and train the kitchen staff.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.
• ⁠Assist with menu planning and food preparation.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Manage kitchen inventory and minimize food waste.
• ⁠Handle customer feedback and complaints related to food service/quality.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is well maintained and arrange repairs/maintenance when needed.
• Assist in preparing staff duty rosters to ensure enough manpower during peak hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a kitchen environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience in food preparation and cooking within a café, restaurant, or other F&B setting.
• Proficient in Mandarin (preferred to support business communication).
• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations.
• Able to manage inventory, control food costs, and minimize wastage.
• Willing to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
