Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily formwork activities on construction sites.
- Lead workers in the installation, alignment and dismantling of formwork.
- Read construction drawings and plan manpower, materials and tools for assigned work.
- Check formwork dimensions, levels, alignment and supports before requesting inspection and concrete casting.
- Coordinate with site engineers, safety personnel and other trades to meet project schedules.
- Conduct toolbox briefings and ensure workers follow approved work methods and site safety requirements.
- Monitor workmanship, material usage and housekeeping, and report progress and site issues to the site management team.
- Relevant experience in formwork construction, including experience leading a team.
- Able to read and interpret structural and formwork drawings.
- Familiar with formwork installation, dismantling and safe work practices.
- Good leadership, communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work on construction sites and manage daily work priorities.
- Relevant construction safety training or certification is an advantage.
