Job Description

• To guide perform site inspection and housekeeping to ensure hazard-free working area.
• To strictly follow safety rules and regulations and instruction of direct supervisor for any hot work job preparation by Maintenance Team before and after the job completion.
• To monitor Maintenance Team during hot work process to follow the regulations along this working process.
• To do inspection of working area before signing any Permit To Work (PTW) at Warehouse (Day Bin A & Day Bin B).
• To inspect both Line A & Line B together with Maintenance Inspector and record any finding, improvement, or issue for submission to supervisor.
• Always ready to report duty and take overtime for emergency case and shift substitution.
• Always ready to work at other sections assigned by direct supervisor in case of emergency.
• To assist in preparation of Daily Inspection Report by completing the checklist provided without fail.
• To ensure cleanliness and housekeeping activities within the warehouse functional areas are being upkeep from time to time.
• To prepare Work Order for contingency maintenance which is out of Maintenance Plan.
• To keep safety of manpower during housekeeping process especially at hot zone, sensitive area such as electric cable & height zone.
• To coordinate closely with immediate superior any task which is out of daily planning.
• To assist in all circumstance pertaining to Warehouse function or operation as when required.
• To perform proper housekeeping as directed by Supervisor.
• To perform a wide variety of plant housekeeping tasks at Furnace Building (Level 3, Level 4 & Level 6) and Day Bin (Ground floor to Level 3) and Warehouse Areas.
• To ensure safe allocation of tools & equipment under his responsibilities.
• To adapt to change and work in a team.
• To apply continuous process improvement techniques and quality systems.
• To maintain workplace safety and health practices.
• To communicate and relate effectively at the workplace.
• To develop personal effectiveness at operations level.
• To interpret basic regulation requirements.
• Maintain personal presentation and employability at operations level.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment.
• Reduce staff errors and mistakes.
• Must follow the working hours strictly.

Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least minimum SPM level;
• Able to work overtime and under pressure with minimum supervision;
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (speaking and writing);
• Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
