Finance Business Partner

Location: Johor Bahru (JB), Malaysia

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our client's plant management team in Johor Bahru. Acting as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director, you will drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and improve operational efficiency while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Partner with plant leadership to drive profitability, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
• Evaluate CapEx investments, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
• Drive working capital, inventory optimization, and financial risk management.
• Ensure financial compliance, internal controls, and continuous process improvement.
• Lead finance transformation, digitalization, and cross-functional projects.
• Develop finance team capabilities and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; ACCA, CPA, or CIMA preferred.
• 8–12 years of finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong expertise in FP&A, cost controlling, supply chain finance, and business partnering.
• Proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel, and financial analytics tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
