The Financial Controller is responsible for the overall financial management, accounting, reporting, internal controls and financial compliance of Bayu Beach Resort.

The position is responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, hotel revenue and expenditure are properly controlled, statutory obligations are met, and Management receives timely and reliable financial information for decision-making.

The Financial Controller shall work closely with the General Manager, Managing Director and Heads of Department to control costs, safeguard company assets, improve profitability and maintain sound financial practices throughout the Resort.

• Manage full set of accounts and ensure accurate monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash-flow reports and management accounts.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, departmental costs and profitability.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Review payroll and ensure accuracy of salary-related financial transactions.
• Monitor purchasing, inventory, stock counts and cost-control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory, taxation and accounting requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, banks and relevant authorities.
• Maintain strong internal controls and safeguard company assets.
• Identify financial irregularities, discrepancies and areas for cost improvement.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Management.
• Lead and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
