Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering or any other related Engineering discipline.
- Candidates with more than 2 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly in Customer Quality, Quality Engineering or Supplier/Process Quality, will have an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates with relevant academic backgrounds and a strong interest in quality engineering are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, customer complaint handling, root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) is preferred.
- Familiarity with 8D problem-solving methodology, FMEA, SPC, process control and quality improvement tools will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate quality issues and identify effective solutions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and report-writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Mandarin, including speaking and writing, will be an added advantage when dealing with respective customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Independent, self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for customer quality-related matters, including customer feedback, complaints, requests, quality reports and technical inquiries.
- Investigate and analyse customer complaints, identify root causes and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with relevant internal departments.
- Prepare, review and submit 8D reports to customers, ensuring timely responses and effective follow-up until all corrective actions are implemented and closed.
- Coordinate and facilitate customer audits, including audit preparation, documentation, internal coordination, audit arrangements and follow-up on audit findings.
- Verify and monitor customer qualification lots to ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality requirements and established acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Production, Process Engineering, Quality Assurance and other relevant departments to investigate internal production line quality issues.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process stability and manufacturing performance.
- Monitor customer quality performance, analyse quality trends and prepare reports on customer complaints, defect rates and corrective action status.
- Ensure timely communication and follow-up with customers regarding quality issues, investigation progress, corrective actions and improvement results.
- Review and maintain customer-specific quality requirements, quality documentation and relevant records to ensure compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
- Support internal quality audits, process audits and customer-specific quality improvement activities.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer quality requirements are understood and effectively implemented throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform other quality-related duties and assignments as required by management.
