• Knowledge of PHP 7.4 compatibility, including avoiding unsupported syntax such as union types, match expressions, the nullsafe operator (?->), named arguments, enums, and constructor property promotion.

• MySQL: JOIN, filtered aggregates, and parameterized queries. SQL queries must not be built by concatenating request values.

• React function components and TypeScript. Ability to load JSON from an HTTP endpoint and render it in a table.

• Vicidial or a similar predictive dialer: campaigns, lists, inbound groups, agent status, and dispositions.

• Asterisk at a working level: a call hits a dialplan context, an AGI script can run during that call, and you can read a short dialplan snippet.

• Git: branch, commit, pull request, and a simple conflict.

• You can read a large existing PHP file and change one behavior without rewriting it.

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is welcome. Relevant hands-on experience with a Vicidial or Asterisk system is sufficient in place of a degree.

What you will do

• Add and fix PHP in the agent bridge and dialer overlays, keeping it compatible with PHP 7.4 and PHP 8.

• Write MySQL against the Vicidial asterisk database.

• Build and change React screens that call those PHP endpoints: lists, filters, and report tables.

• Trace a call from the agent screen through the bridge to Asterisk: campaign, inbound group, disposition, pause, and transfer.

• Support existing reports such as occupancy, agent performance, and call history.

• Open a pull request and explain what you changed on a live call flow.

• Install and support the current voice app on customer servers.
