Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Research Analyst to support business research, data analysis, market intelligence, and reporting activities. The successful candidate will gather and evaluate information from reliable sources, identify market trends, prepare research reports, and provide data-driven insights to support business planning and decision-making.

This role is suitable for candidates who enjoy working with data, conducting research, solving problems, and communicating findings clearly.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market, industry, competitor, and business research using reliable sources.
• Collect, organize, verify, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
• Identify market trends, business opportunities, risks, and emerging developments.
• Prepare research reports, analytical summaries, presentations, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate research databases, records, and documentation.
• Use spreadsheets and relevant analytical tools to interpret data and present findings.
• Support management and internal teams with research-based insights.
• Monitor industry developments and update research materials when necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues on research projects and business improvement initiatives.
• Ensure research findings are accurate, objective, and supported by evidence.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Research, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to gather information, assess source reliability, and summarize findings accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, presentation tools, or research software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new research methods, tools, and industry practices.
