Job Description – Account Executive (Accounts Payable)

Department: Finance

Position: Account Executive – Accounts Payable

Job Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounts payable activities, including processing supplier invoices, debit notes, and credit notes in SAP.
• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders, goods received notes (GRNs), and supporting documents.
• Prepare payment vouchers and payment batches, ensuring payments are properly supported and approved.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
• Maintain supplier accounts and perform supplier statement reconciliations.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related matters.
• Assist in month-end closing, AP ageing reports, audit queries, and other financial reporting requirements.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting records.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Preferably 2–3 years of relevant accounts payable experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar accounting system is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good understanding of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal departments and external suppliers.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
