Faculty of Mechanical & Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA) in collaboration with the Centre for Aerospace Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Pekan Campus is looking for potential Master’s and PhD students to pursue their studies while serving as Graduate Research Assistants (GRA) in the area of aerospace and advanced mobility systems.

The research focuses on applied aerospace engineering, including structures and materials, propulsion systems, and avionics and flight control for UAV and rocket applications.

Requirements:

• Successful candidates MUST register as FULL-TIME Master’s by Research students at UMPSA upon appointment.
• The minimum research duration is 12 months (Master’s).
• Strong interest in aerospace engineering, UAVs, rockets, or advanced mobility systems
• Proficiency in analytical skills and data analysis
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of research methodologies
• Laboratory or hands-on engineering skills, including testing, fabrication, or system integration
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research team
• Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s) in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related engineering fields
• Familiarity with CAD, simulation tools, control systems, or embedded systems is an advantage
• There is no strict minimum CGPA requirement.

Funding & Appointment

• Monthly stipend: RM 1,400 (negotiable)
• Expected start date: Negotiable
