JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsibilities in generating sales needs to maximize revenue so that agreed sales targets are achieve;
• To assist Management in increasing the Hotel / theme park’s profitability;
• To manage Corporate and TA accounts ensuring loyalty and continued support to our hotel and group;
• Comply on all Sales & Marketing Standard Policies and Procedures;
• To ensure the smooth running of sales & catering operations;
• Confirm to follow and enforce policies and procedures & rules and regulations as laid down by company and the hotel in order to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service;
• Report on competitor activity;
• Develop and maintain contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/Convention Bureau travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to Hotel / Theme Park Business;
• Keep accurate records and profiles of all existing and new accounts;
• Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of the client company, its products and hospitality needs;
• Organize regular sales visit in accordance to predetermined plan;
• Promotes the hotel / theme park as often as possible through entertaining, conduction, site inspections, and presentations etc;
• Pays visits to former, existing and potential clients in view of entering into contracts with them, especially corporate accounts;
• Defines precisely client requirements and ensures that the guest services offered corresponds effectively to their requests;
• Provides after-sales service and in particular to ensure all client feedback is taken seriously and discussed with the respective departments if necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia in writing / speaking and other languages are added advantages;
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years working experience as Sales Personnel in Hotel / Theme Park industry - Corporate Market;
• Strong ability to engage with customers and strong leadership skills;
• Able to work under pressure, resilient, multi task, independent and punctual;
• Must be familiar with basic computer skills and should have experience in Social Media marketing / sales strategies;
• Ability to effectively deal with guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner;
• Candidate must be able to work on shifts rotation whenever required on weekends, Public Holidays and peak seasons period to cater the business / operational needs;
• Applicants must be willing to work at SUNWAY LOST WORLD OF TAMBUN, Ipoh, Perak.
