Container Hotel Group Hiring! Full Time Operations - Improvement Engineer (Housekeeping Operations) in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 5,000 - Ricebowl

We are looking for someone who sees problems differently.

Your first responsibility will be to lead and improve our housekeeping operation.

Hotel or housekeeping experience is not required.

We are open to candidates from Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Lean, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Operations or similar backgrounds.

The kind of thinking we want

If room cleaning time increases from 25 to 32 minutes

We don't want someone who immediately says:

“The staff need to work faster.”

We want someone who asks:

Where did the extra 7 minutes go? Why? What changed? How do we prove it? How do we prevent it from happening again?

What you will do

• Lead daily housekeeping operations and team performance
• Study how work is actually done on the floor
• Identify bottlenecks, waste, delays and recurring problems
• Use data to understand root causes
• Improve productivity, quality, manpower deployment and workflow
• Develop practical SOPs, standard work and controls
• Work closely with experienced frontline employees to learn the technical side of housekeeping
• Track whether improvements actually work

We are looking for someone who

• Thinks analytically and asks good questions
• Goes to the floor instead of relying only on reports
• Understands root-cause problem solving
• Is comfortable with data and Excel
• Can lead and work with frontline teams
• Learns unfamiliar operations quickly
• Respects experience, but challenges assumptions with evidence
• Takes ownership from problem identification through implementation

Experience in Lean, Kaizen, TPS, process improvement, time studies, productivity improvement or operational excellence is an advantage.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
