Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related engineering discipline.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in product development, manufacturing engineering, or research and development.

Experience in sheet metal fabrication, retail fixtures, furniture manufacturing, or metal manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Proficient in AutoCAD Inverter and SolidWorks.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).

Familiar with product testing, design validation, and engineering documentation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments.

Able to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.

Research, design, and develop new products, components, and engineering solutions to meet customer and business requirements.

Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

Develop, review, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM), engineering drawings, and technical documentation.

Prepare 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for product development and engineering improvements.

Conduct product testing, validation, and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and functional requirements.

Analyse production issues and recommend engineering solutions to improve product performance and manufacturability.

Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Project teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Support prototype development, trial builds, and new product introductions into production.

Recommend new materials, fabrication methods, and manufacturing technologies to improve competitiveness.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, value engineering, and cost reduction projects.

Ensure engineering documentation is updated, controlled, and compliant with company standards.

Practise good housekeeping (5S) and comply with all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Design & Production Manager or Management.
