We're looking to add an Engineer, Test in Senai, Johor.

About the Role

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customer account models from a Test Engineering perspective, ensuring efficient production operations with minimum equipment downtime, and driving continuous improvement through test development, troubleshooting, and data analysis. You will play a key role in supporting NPI activities, production test systems, and manufacturing excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in test engineering activities at both PCBA and Box-Build manufacturing levels.
• Define, establish, and support test setups during New Product Introduction (NPI) phases.
• Perform functional, component, system, performance, regression, and service testing activities.
• Design test plans, develop test cases and scenarios, set up test environments, and execute validation activities.
• Work closely with development teams to identify test requirements, ensure version control, and support product quality objectives.
• Analyze production failures, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide feedback on product usability, serviceability, and quality risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain minor in-house database systems and test software applications.
• Support manufacturing operations to achieve maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
• Participate actively in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and support company safety objectives.

Key Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
• Programming experience in VB.Net and LabVIEW.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with knowledge of 8D, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required. Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making capabilities.
