We are looking for Cantonese<> English and vice versa remote medical interpreters who want to join an international company. Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) Interpreters at LanguageBridge Solutions. Who will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. In this rewarding position, you will serve as a bridge, facilitating understanding and enabling patients to receive the care they need. It is essential that the candidate can understand and interpret a variety of medical-related terminology and be knowledgeable about various medical processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Answer calls in a professional manner, acting according to the Interpreter's code of conduct, HIPAA and FWA.
• Be always prepared to take notes during a call.
• Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).
• Participate in our free online professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.
• Provide accurate and impartial interpretation services during medical consultations, medical terminology, procedures, instructions, information between Cantonese speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare professionals and other healthcare interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all patient interactions
