Packer - Job Responsibilities
- Pack finished bakery products according to standard packing procedures.
- Check product quality before packing (e.g., appearance, weight, labeling).
- Ensure all items are sealed, labelled, and stored correctly.
- Assist in loading packed goods onto trolleys or pallets.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the packing area.
- Follow safety, food hygiene, and GMP requirements at all times.
- Any other ad-hoc assigned by superior.
- Able to perform simple packing and repetitive tasks.
- Able to perform manual tasks to handle standing work and light lifting.
- Able to follow instructions and work in a fast paced environment.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
- Willing to work shifts/overtime when required.
- Wash and clean baking trays, utensils, equipment, and production tools.
- Maintain cleanliness of production areas, washing areas, and waste disposal zones.
- Ensure proper sanitisation according to food safety standards.
- Support production team by returning clean tools promptly.
- Assist with simple housekeeping tasks when needed.
- Able to handle standing, washing, and cleaning tasks.
- Able to perform physical tasks to carry trays and equipment.
- Able to follow hygiene, cleaning, and safety procedures.
- Responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work shifts/overtime when required.
