• SPM / diploma engineering or equivalent

• Experience: Previous experience in storekeeping, inventory, or related fields

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management software.

• Maintenance Focus: Understanding of engineering/maintenance parts, specifications, and related systems.

• Material Control: Familiarity with stock control systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming parts; accurately record all transactions (receipts, issues, returns) in the system.

• Stock Control: Maintain optimal stock levels (min/max), perform regular stock counts, rotate stock (First-In, First-Out), and manage surplus/expired items.

• Issuing Parts: Provide serviceable parts to maintenance personnel and efficiently process requests for parts.

• Documentation & Reporting: Reconcile deliveries with purchase orders, generate material reports, and maintain accurate records for audits.

• Store Organization: Keep the storeroom clean, safe, and organized, ensuring efficient use of space and adherence to safety standards.

• Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers for timely deliveries, process returns, and handle emergency orders.

• Equipment Handling: Oversee the movement of equipment and potentially operate warehouse machinery like forklifts.
