Job Summary
The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day accounting activities and maintaining accurate and timely financial records. The role supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, reporting, month-end closing and other financial and administrative matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
- Verify invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts regularly.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Process supplier invoices and monitor outstanding payables.
- Assist with monthly closing and preparation of management accounts.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are properly recorded.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Assist with cash flow monitoring and payment planning.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, tax agents and other relevant parties when required.
- Assist with audit, tax and statutory requirements.
- Support the preparation of financial information for management review.
- Ensure accounting transactions comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Assist with other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
- Mandarin proficiency is a must.
- Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Familiar with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and month-end closing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to manage deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
