About the role

This Senior Executive position involves preparation and maintenance of accurate and timely month end, quarterly and yearly end close processes and reporting, along with management of daily accounting records, cash flow management, and analysis to improve internal controls, policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation and maintain accurate and timely month end, quarterly and yearly end close processes and reporting
• Maintain accurate daily accounting records, cash flow management, analysis and assist to improve on internal controls, policies and procedures
• Managing inter-company transactions
• Assisting with the preparation of budgeting and forecasting reports & monitoring budget spending in periodical reports
• Managing periodical physical inventory count & assets sighting
• Overseeing and maintaining assets records & tagging
• Liaison with banker, solicitor, auditors, tax consultant and relevant authority for work matters related to audit and income tax
• Handle and support head of department/ management on other assignments and ad hoc tasks as and when requested

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in finance or related field is required
• At least Finance/ Accounting Professional Degree or equivalent, Advance/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma
• Three years or above working experience in related area
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to deliver results and resolve problems
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, etc.
• Ability to work independently and attention to detail
• Ability to work within strict deadlines and reporting timetables
• Experience in ERP system is advantageou
