Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and SMAW welding on various metals, including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum.
• Interpret technical engineering drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders to determine project specifications and tolerances.
• Fit, align, clamp, and tackle components prior to final welding; grind, clean, and finish welds to meet quality specifications.
• Inspect completed welds for defects, proper penetration, and structural integrity using visual inspection and standard testing methods.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery in safe and optimal working condition.
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations, HIRARC guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times.

Requirements:

• Vocational Diploma, SPM, or Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM Level 3/4) in Welding Technology / Fabrication / Mechanical Engineering.
• Welder Qualification Test (WQT) Certificate / 3G, 4G, or 6G welding certification is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on welding and metal fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical layout drawings and weld symbols.
• Hands-on experience with workshop machinery (e.g., grinders, plasma cutters, band saws, press brakes).
• High attention to detail, strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a solid commitment to workplace safety and quality control.
• Proficiency in Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) interpretation and development.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
