Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Proven working experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least [4] years' experience

Proficiency in quantity take-off software and cost estimation tools.

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Proficient in project management and cost control software.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin. Candidates with Mandarin proficiency will be plus point as there will be dealings and requirement to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Must be willing to be based in working location - Sungai Petani, Kedah.

Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender documents for construction projects.

Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accurate costing and material quantities.

Source, compare, and negotiate quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.

Assist in tender submissions, tender evaluations, and procurement activities.

Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and cost variations throughout the project lifecycle.

Prepare progress claims, payment certificates, variation orders, and final account documentation.
