RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Monitor and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Halal Assurance System (HAS).

* Ensure products, raw materials, processes, and operations comply with applicable quality, food safety, and Halal requirements.

* Coordinate Halal certification applications, renewals, amendments, and related documentation with the relevant authorities.

* Maintain and update Halal-related documents, records, and procedures.

* Conduct regular inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with QA and Halal requirements.

* Verify and maintain records for raw materials, product specifications, certificates, and traceability.

* Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure quality and Halal procedures are properly implemented and followed.

* Assist in preparing for external audits, Halal audits, and regulatory inspections.

* Provide awareness and training to employees on quality, hygiene, food safety, and Halal requirements.

* Perform other QA and Halal-related duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Halal Management, Quality Management, or a related field.

* Knowledge of Halal requirements, food safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality management systems will be an advantage.

* Experience in QA, food manufacturing, Halal coordination, or a related industry is preferred.

* Familiar with Halal certification requirements and documentation processes.

* Good understanding of quality control, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices.

* Strong documentation, organizational, and record-keeping skills.

* Willing to learn and keep updated on relevant Halal, food safety, and regulatory requirements.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
