Role Description The Assistant Supervisor is a full-time on-site role based at our store. This role supports the Store Supervisor in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and floor management. The Assistant Supervisor helps guide and motivate team members, ensures high standards of customer service, and assists with training new hires. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring product displays, managing stock levels, coordinating promotions, and handling customer inquiries or escalations. The role also involves basic administrative duties such as reporting sales performance, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with store policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in retail or customer-facing roles, with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic supervisory or team-leading experience, including the ability to support staff, delegate tasks, and assist with scheduling.
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and simple store administration and reporting.
• Interest in mobile phones and accessories, with the ability to learn product features and advise customers effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• additional training in retail management or customer service is an advantage.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform basic physical tasks related to stock handling and store maintenance.
