Requirements
1. Artwork Processing & Pre-press
Receive and review design files provided by clients (e.g., AI, CDR, PDF, PSD, etc.), verifying dimensions, fonts, and formats.
Proficiently use CorelDRAWorAdobe Illustrator for production layout, creating standard output/processing files that meet factory production requirements (e.g., vector files required for laser cutting, CNC, inkjet printing, engraving, etc.).
Responsible for trimming, setting bleed areas, imposition, and color alignment before output, submitting files to the workshop for processing after ensuring accuracy.
2. Production Tracking & Coordination
Track the entire production status of orders in the workshop (e.g., board cutting, character bending, spray painting, assembly, testing, etc.), ensuring products are completed on time and with quality.
Communicate promptly with workshop team leaders or production masters to coordinate and resolve any doubts regarding drawings or technical issues encountered during production.
Regularly provide production progress feedback to supervisors or clients, issuing timely warnings and assisting in resolving any abnormal situations such as delivery delays.
3. Quality Control & Inter-departmental Support
Assist in conducting quality spot checks of finished products before shipment (verifying dimensions, paint colors, detailed craftsmanship, etc.).
Maintain good communication with sales personnel and clients to confirm design modifications or specific craftsmanship requirements.
Responsibilities
Education and Professional Background:
Associate's degree or above, preferably in Graphic Design, Advertising Design, Printing Engineering, or related majors (experience may be considered in lieu of formal education).
Software and Skill Requirements:
Must be proficient in CorelDRAW (CDR), with a strong command of common design and vector layout software such as Adobe Illustrator (AI) and Photoshop (PS).
Familiarity with vector conversion, layout, and basic engineering proofing for advertising signs/printing blueprints.
Work Experience and Industry Knowledge:
Preference given to candidates with 2 years of experience in layout/order processing within the advertising sign, illuminated character, acrylic processing, or printing industries.
Knowledge of common advertising materials (e.g., EG board/galvanized sheet, acrylic, aluminum edging, LED strips) and processing techniques is a plus.
Abilities and Qualities:
Meticulous and Rigorous: Highly attentive to dimensions, spelling, and vector paths to effectively minimize production errors.
Strong Communication and Coordination Skills: Adept at facilitating efficient communication between clients, sales representatives, and workshop technicians.
Resilience and Execution Ability: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced factory production environment, with the ability to multitask and meet delivery deadlines.
