Job Description

Requirements

Account Receivable (AR & AP)

  • Working hours: 9am-6pm {Monday - Friday)

  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing (e g issue and check invoice, debit/credit note), payment collections (e g record, bank in and issue official receipt)

  • Follow up on overdue payments and resolve billing discrepancies.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and payment statuses.

  • Prepare and send monthly statement of accounts to customers.

  • Coordinate with sales team to resolve payment-related issues.

  • Support in preparing and submitting SST and E-Invoicing.

  • Compile, sort and check invoices for payment processing.

  • Monitor the timing of payments to ensure that invoices are promptly processed and paid

  • File payment vouchers after being approved and paid out.

  • Ensure all payments are properly verified before approval.

  • Maintain proper filing of invoices, payment vouchers, and financial documents.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, including managing emails, phone calls, and scheduling appointments.

  • Assist in general administrative and accounting tasks, including document scanning, filing, and record keeping.

  • Providing support to the accounting team as needed.

  • Maintain office supplies and liaise with vendors.

  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of working experience in general accounting is preferred (fresh grads are encouraged to apply).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with AutoCount or SQL

  • Accounting System is an added advantage.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Responsible, proactive, and demonstrates a positive work attitude.

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Willing to work overtime when required.

  • A good working attitude and willingness to travel are required.
