Your new company
A leading player within the shipbuilding and marine engineering sector is seeking a Logistics Executive to support large-scale vessel construction and project delivery activities. With ongoing complex marine projects and extensive equipment movements, the organisation offers strong exposure to project logistics, customs compliance, import operations, and coordination across shipyard, procurement, vendor, and regulatory stakeholders. Candidates with prior experience supporting shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore marine, or shipyard operations will be highly regarded.

Your new role

The role requires a strong understanding of project logistics within a marine environment, where delivery accuracy, compliance, and vessel build timelines are key success factors.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Hands-on experience managing end-to-end logistics operations within the shipbuilding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs declarations, permit applications, and shipping documentation for marine projects.
  • Hands-on experience liaising with port authorities, customs agents, freight forwarders, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth cargo clearance and delivery execution.
  • Familiarity with regulatory submissions and approvals involving Customs, CIDB, SIRIM, MCMC, and other relevant authorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate material and equipment deliveries with procurement, vendors, and project teams while supporting vessel build schedules and delivery milestones.
  • Role is based in Miri, Sarawak.
