  • Liaising with clients in setting up new Labuan companies including reservation of name, KYC documents requirements, preparing resolutions, opening of bank account, and work permit of applicant.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and clients to gather complete KYC documentation in compliance with company policies and relevant jurisdictional laws.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and maintain up to date KYC and Due Diligence records for directors, shareholders, ultimate beneficial owners and affiliated entities.
  • Assist with full-lifecycle corporate secretarial matters for Labuan companies, from initial incorporation to liquidation/strike off.
  • Preparing and drafting corporate secretarial documents, including resolutions, share transaction forms and annual returns.
  • Prepare filing documents for submission to Trust Officer / Director as required through LFSA regulatory systems.
  • Handle post incorporation requests, such as conducting company search, obtaining Letter of Information / Letter of Good Standing, arranging document notarization and legalization.
  • Maintain complete and accurate statutory registers, physical corporate files, and digital records within Company’s shared drive and the entity database system (“PORTAL”).
    Attend client enquiries and follow-up with clients with regards to outstanding bills, manage client relationships to ensure product delivery, develop and maintain existing portfolio of clients.
  • Ensuring adherence to the statutory and internal AML/CFT policies, rules and regulations and procedures at all. Reporting and highlighting any suspicious transactions etc to compliance team for further investigation if needed.
  • Prepare client’s and in-house financial accounts and liaising directly with external auditors.
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns and reports, including LFSA Statistical Management System (“SMS”) Report and Quarterly EAL Report.
  • Prepare client annual tax returns and employer’s tax filings and liaise with tax authorities.
  • Assist other ad hoc tasks (compliance and corporate) from time to time.

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree in Law, Business, Corporate Administration, ICSA qualification or equivalent.
  • Candidates at least 2 years administrator experiences preferably in a financial industry related field or in relevant corporate secretarial experience with a professional firm.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and good proficiency in Mandarin will be added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Has strong sense of responsibility.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Detailed-oriented.
