Job Overview

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-oriented Pre-Sales Engineer with experience in cloud-native technologies, DevOps, Kubernetes, and container platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, Kubernetes (K8s), OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), networking, storage, monitoring, logging, and automation.

You will work closely with the sales team and customers to understand technical requirements, propose suitable solutions, provide technical demonstrations, and support customers throughout the pre-sales process.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Customer Engagement

• Provide on-site technical guidance and training to customers during product evaluations, trials, and proof-of-concept (POC) activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and help customers resolve product-related challenges.
• Act as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure effective communication and customer satisfaction.

Pre-Sales & Solution Development

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify business opportunities and provide technical consultation and pre-sales support.
• Understand customer requirements and design appropriate technical solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, tender documents, project presentations, POC reports, implementation plans, and other relevant technical documentation.

Market & Product Feedback

• Gather and analyse customer requirements, industry trends, and market insights.
• Communicate customer feedback and technical requirements to the product and R&D teams to support product improvements and development.

Marketing & Technical Collaboration

• Participate in marketing events, technical seminars, and industry-related activities.
• Deliver technical presentations and keynote speeches to customers and business partners.
• Establish technical relationships and collaborate with business partners to support joint solutions and business opportunities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in IT, Internet, cloud computing, or technology-related companies is preferred.
• Familiarity with mainstream cloud computing technologies, platforms, and industry solutions.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
• IT Infrastructure and System Administration
• Kubernetes (K8s) and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
• Cloud-Native Technologies and Container Platforms
• DevOps and Automation
• Networking and Storage
• Monitoring, Logging, and Observability
• Previous experience in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, R&D, or IT operations/maintenance is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: From RM8,000.00 per month
