- • Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI (or similar async Python frameworks such as Django REST or Flask)• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, C#, Python, Golang• Design and implement robust backend logic and task queues (Celery/Dramatiq)• Solid experience in RESTful API design, including versioning, documentation (Swagger), and best practices• Experience designing and managing relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)• Understanding of authentication and authorisation mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2)• Familiarity and hands-on experience with version control tools (Git)• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for deployment and infrastructure• Experience with containerisation using Docker and basic CI/CD pipelines• Strong understanding of data security and privacy compliance• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
