Responsibilities:
• Handle full set of accounts of the assigned companies, includes general accounting, account receivable, account payable, tax and treasury and ensure the financial reports are prepared on an accurate and timely manner.
• Responsible for preparation of tax estimation and schedules for assigned companies accounts.
• Ensuring in timely closing of monthly accounts.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and journal.
• Preparation of Service Tax (SST), Local Government Fee (LGF) and Tourism Tax submission.
• Prepare related companies transactions and ensure reconciling items are followed up properly.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretary and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirement.
• To manage proper filing and documentation work.
• Data compiling and analysis for reporting.
• Ensure proper compile, filing, recordkeeping and safekeeping of relevant accounts and finance documents.
• Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Able to work independently, self-motivated, possess analytical skills, ability to adapt to change and proactive team player.
• Knowledge in handling of full sets of accounts is must.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Certificate of LCCI or equivalent.
• Strong computer literacy in particular knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
• Knowledge of SQL accounting system will be an advantage.
• Good time management and work prioritization, ability to meet deadlines.
• Candidate with working experience in hotel line would be an advantage.
• Candidate will act as a Basic Accounting/Bookkeeping/Administrative for this job position.
