General Manager / Managing Director — Southeast Asia growth mandate, based Singapore

I'm retained on a confidential search for a General Manager / Managing Director to lead a well-established industrial and environmental technology site in Singapore. Forty people, a $30 million P&L, and a clear runway to scale past $100 million within three to five years as the business extends its footprint across the SEA region.

This isn't a turnaround and it isn't a start-up. The site is already profitable, part of a global group, with the infrastructure in place. What it needs now is someone who can take regional ownership of the next phase and build the commercial engine to match the ambition.

What the role carries: Full P&L accountability for the Singapore site, with a direct mandate to grow revenue across Southeast Asia. You'll lead operations, commercial and finance as one function, and you'll be the senior voice for the region into a global parent company.

Minimum requirements:

• Significant experience in a GM, MD or Regional Manager role with full P&L accountability, ideally in industrial, engineering, manufacturing or environmental technology
• A demonstrated track record of running a business of comparable scale profitably
• Success driving growth in Southeast Asia or wider APAC, whether organic growth, new market entry, or both
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across operations, commercial and finance, not a single-discipline background
• Comfortable operating within a larger multinational group, including reporting to international stakeholders
• Based in Singapore or willing to relocate, with the right to work
• Degree qualified in engineering, business or a related discipline
