This internship provides hands-on experience in the fabrication, assembly and testing of industrial water chillers and refrigeration systems.

Job Scope:

• Assist technicians in the fabrication and assembly of industrial water chillers
• Assist with copper piping work and copper brazing
• Assist with installation of compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps and refrigeration components
• Assist with refrigerant piping preparation, cutting and fitting
• Assist with pressure testing, vacuuming and refrigerant charging
• Assist with electrical wiring and control panel installation
• Assist with installation of water piping, pumps and related components
• Assist technicians with machine testing and troubleshooting
• Assist with equipment preparation before delivery
• Follow technicians for site installation and commissioning when required
• Maintain tools and keep the production area clean and organised
• Follow all workshop and site safety procedures

Requirements:

• Currently studying Certificate / Diploma / SKM in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical or related technical course
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems is an advantage
• Experience or basic knowledge in copper brazing is an advantage
• Willing to learn hands-on fabrication and technical work
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a technical team
• Willing to work in a workshop / production environment
