Job Summary
We're looking for a Support Engineer to act as the technical bridge between customers, the Sales Team, and the DevOps Team. This role is ideal for individuals who possess both technical knowledge and strong communication skills, enabling them to translate customer requirements into actionable technical solutions while ensuring smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Technical Skills
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
1–3 years of experience in technical support, software implementation, application support, or related roles.
Familiarity with Windows environments.
Experience with enterprise software, web applications, or IoT/embedded systems is a plus.
Basic scripting or coding skills (ability to read and understand code).
Understanding of databases, APIs, or system integration concepts is an advantage.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments is an advantage.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of balancing customer expectations with technical constraints.
Ability to gather requirements effectively and translate business needs into technical specifications.
Proactive problem-solver with a customer-focused mindset.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills when diagnosing issues and identifying root causes.
Highly organized with good attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative team player who can work effectively across Sales, Development, and Customer teams.
Comfortable handling difficult conversations and managing customer escalations professionally.
岗位职责
What Will You Do?
Report to the Sales Manager and work closely with the DevOps Manager to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and executed.
Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, the Sales Team, and the Development Team.
Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements, enhancement requests, and technical issues.
Coordinate with internal teams to troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve customer-reported issues.
Assist in solution demonstrations, technical discussions, and post-sales support activities.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system validation, and deployment activities.
Monitor project progress and communicate updates, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders.
Provide basic technical consultation and guidance to customers regarding system functionality and best practices.
Occasionally assist with software testing, debugging, and system configuration activities.
Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel to customer sites within Malaysia when required.
Occasional overseas travel may be required.
Possession of own transport and a valid driving license.
