Hitachi Electronic Products (M) Sdn. Bhd.(HEPM) was established at Bangi Industrial Estate, Selangor in 1989 as part of Hitachi Ltd.’s expansion into Malaysia’s dynamic electronics industry. Effective from 1st March 2013, HEPM became one of the overseas manufacturing plants of Hitachi-LG Data Storage Inc. (HLDS), a joint venture of Hitachi Ltd. and LG Electronics Inc. the global market leader in the world wide optical storage market since its establishment in year 2001.
Progressing with the nation, we have become one of Malaysia’s leading manufacturers of Optical Disc Drive (ODD) products and new products including Wireless Charger, Solid State Drive (SSD), Smart Camera and Time of Flight (TOF) 3D Sensor Products.
