Effective from 1st March 2013, HEPM became one of the overseas manufacturing plants of Hitachi-LG Data Storage Inc. (HLDS), a joint venture of Hitachi Ltd. and LG Electronics Inc. the global market leader in the world wide optical storage market since its establishment in year 2001.
