Data-Driven Problem Solving: Utilize data analysis skills, statistical tools, and Six Sigma methodologies to investigate test data, troubleshoot manufacturing bottlenecks, and optimize reliability.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, structural, etc.) to ensure the electrical design is integrated with other building systems.
Use of Six Sigma, Lean, and Mistake proof methodologies in the development of manufacturing processes to implement processes that are ‘born lean and capable’.
Develop and maintain reusable component libraries, plugins, and shared modules consumed across multiple products to reduce duplication and improve consistency.
Lead cross-functional projects to manage changes to products and processes to ensure compliance integrity to new or changed product environmental regulations, audits, and safety certification requirements.
Reliability & Operations: Build for production from day one through strong observability, monitoring, performance, security and operational resilience.
Responsible for the accuracy of the manufacturing BOM and driving product quality, operational productivity, product cost, and total cost of manufacturing.
Lead or support equipment selection and new equipment introduction: define statement of purpose/requirements, work with suppliers and stakeholders to develop process algorithms, machine hardware, and software from buy-off through release to manufacturing.
