This foundation course introduces first-year students to the fundamentals of gameplay through paper prototyping. Students design and build physical, paper-based games to explore and test game mechanics, learning how rules, engagement loops, feedback systems and reward structures work together to create compelling play experiences. Through iterative prototyping, playtesting and peer and instructor feedback, students refine their designs and develop a solid understanding of what makes games work, laying the groundwork for digital game development in later courses.
Integrate AI tools into your ideation and production pipeline to accelerate exploration, generate variations and increase output without compromising craft or originality
Beam and Device Characterization: Implement and optimize electron-optical systems and diagnostic tools, including cold cathode field emission testing, to characterize electron beam properties, beam-matter interactions at the nanoscale, and device performance.
Secure Capacity and Lead Buy Execution: Translate the supply plan into capacity requirements by product, vendor and country of origin, and lead buy guidance, global buy review, PO creation, confirmation and acceptance reporting.
Creating business values through prompt, compliant and commercially advantageous procurement intervention to ensure internal stakeholders’ satisfaction. Lead, initiate and drive strategic procurement plans partnering with key stakeholders.
