Requirements
. GCE O'/'A' Level / Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma (Pass in English and Mathematics)
. PC literate and able to use applications i.e. Microsoft Office Applications (especially MS Excel)
. Able to work independently and in a team environment
. Meticulous and has an interest in handling figures
. Fair/Good command on spoken & written English language
Job Description
1. Track, retrieve and collate eResources statistics for monthly reports as per the required timeline. This includes liaising with vendors on statistics related issues, and updating manuals on usage statistics, where applicable.
2. Provide adhoc administrative support to the department e.g. ad hoc retrieval of statistics, administer the generic email account and follow up to ensure proper closure. For complex queries, to escalate to the respective staff in-charge to follow up.
3. Support the record ingestion process to ensure discoverability of eResources on NLB's platforms, and for titles to be available to NLB patrons.
4. Support projects within the department such as:
a. Testing and deployment of eResources.
b. Ingestion of data for further analysis.
c. Consolidation lists of files for discard.
