  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Law, or a related discipline.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with relevant working experience will have an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of Malaysian labour laws, employment legislation, and statutory requirements.
  • Strong interest and understanding in HR compliance, governance, audit, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Preferred Mandarin Speaker.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with different stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive HR information.
  • Confident and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.

Responsibilities

 

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Compliance & Governance Executive to support the organization in maintaining legal compliance, strengthening risk management practices, and ensuring effective corporate governance within HR operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in audit readiness, HR policy governance, compliance monitoring, and documentation, ensuring that HR policies, procedures, and practices are consistently aligned with applicable laws, statutory requirements, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and operations comply with applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, company policies, and internal governance requirements.
  • Act as the key HR PIC for internal and external audits, coordinating audit requirements and ensuring timely preparation and submission of requested documents, records, and supporting information.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders to collect, organize, verify, and maintain accurate HR data and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Review and monitor HR SOPs, policies, guidelines, and work processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, effectiveness, and compliance with company requirements.
  • Identify potential HR compliance gaps, operational risks, and areas of non-conformance, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records to ensure audit readiness and traceability of HR processes.
  • Monitor changes in relevant labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements, and assist in assessing their impact on HR policies and practices.
  • Work closely with HR team members and relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are properly communicated and implemented.
  • Support management in strengthening risk mitigation, internal controls, and corporate governance practices related to HR.
  • Perform other HR compliance, governance, and audit-related duties as assigned by management.
