Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for construction project
• Carry out site measurements and verify quantities of work completed.
• Monitor project costs, budget, and expenditure to ensure effective cost control.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations and evaluate costs.
• Prepare subcontractor progress claims and payment recommendations.
• Maintain proper records of site measurements, project costs, claims, and variations.
• Provide expert advice on contractual and commercial matters to project teams
• Collaborate with project managers and other professionals to ensure the timely completion of projects within budget

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with site experience.
• Good knowledge of construction measurement, cost control, valuation, variation, claims, and final accounts.
• Familiar with construction contracts such as PAM, JKR, CIDB, or other relevant contract forms.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with site/project teams.
• BQSM registration/professional qualification is an added advantage.
• CIDB registration/site-related certification, where applicable, is an advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
