Responsibilities
Logistics Intern
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and organised Logistics Intern to support our day-to-day logistics, delivery coordination, inventory movement, and documentation activities.
This role is suitable for students who want hands-on exposure to logistics operations within an engineering and manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the operations, warehouse, procurement, production, and project teams to ensure materials and products are delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Arrange and monitor transportation, courier, and delivery schedules.
Prepare delivery-related documents such as Delivery Orders (DO), packing lists, and supporting records.
Track delivery status and follow up with drivers, transporters, suppliers, and internal teams.
Assist in coordinating material movement between warehouse, production, project sites, suppliers, and customers.
Support inventory checking, stock movement, and basic warehouse documentation.
Ensure delivery and logistics records are properly updated and filed.
Assist in checking quantities and condition of goods before dispatch or upon receiving.
Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Sales, Project and Warehouse teams on delivery requirements.
Assist in maintaining logistics trackers and updating delivery status.
Support sourcing and comparison of transportation or courier services when required.
Assist in resolving basic delivery issues such as delays, incorrect quantities, or missing documentation.
Perform other logistics and operational duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Transportation Management or a related field.
Fresh students with no working experience are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Workspace.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Able to communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, drivers and transporters.
Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
Comfortable working in both office and operational environments.
Able to work independently with guidance from the supervisor.
Possess own transportation is an advantage.
