Role Description The Operation Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Sitiawan, responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily port and terminal operations. This role includes monitoring cargo handling activities, ensuring compliance with operating procedures and safety standards, and supporting efficient vessel turnaround and cargo movement. The Operation Executive will liaise with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders to manage operational schedules, resolve issues, and optimize resource utilization. The role also involves preparing operational reports, analyzing performance data, and recommending improvements to processes and workflows. The Operation Executive will contribute to maintaining high service standards and operational reliability in line with Lumut Port’s quality and safety requirements.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Operations and Operations Management skills to coordinate daily activities, manage resources, and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review operational data, identify trends, and propose practical improvements.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills to collaborate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, and to handle operational issues professionally.
• Relevant experience in port, logistics, maritime, or industrial operations is beneficial.
• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Operations Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work in shifts, adapt to a dynamic operational environment, and comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office) and familiarity with operational reporting tools is an advantage.
