Scientific Editor

We are looking for a qualified Scientific Editor to join our editorial team. This position focuses primarily on scientific content review, academic quality control, and manuscript quality assessment, while also undertaking basic language editing work.

The position is suitable for candidates with a PhD / Doctoral degree in Biomedical Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, or other relevant disciplines.

Key Responsibilities：

1. Scientific Content Review

· Review academic manuscripts for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and overall academic quality.

· Identify scientific errors, inconsistencies, unsupported statements, and potential issues in the manuscript.

· Review the use of scientific terminology, concepts, and discipline-specific expressions.

2. Academic Quality Control

· Conduct quality-control reviews to ensure manuscripts meet the required academic and editorial standards.

· Identify areas that require clarification, correction, revision, or further improvement.

3. Basic Language Editing

· Perform basic English language editing, including grammar, sentence structure, terminology, clarity, and readability.

· Ensure consistency in language, terminology, formatting, and academic expression.

Qualifications：

· PhD / Doctoral degree in Biomedical Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, or other relevant disciplines.

· Strong English academic reading and writing skills.

· Strong understanding of academic research and scientific literature.

· Excellent attention to detail and quality awareness.

· Previous experience in academic publishing, manuscript editing, research, peer review, or scientific writing is an advantage.

· Candidates with academic publications or research experience are preferred.
