Job Description

PGEO Edible Oils Sdn. Bhd. is seeking qualified and experienced Chargeman A0 / A1 / A4 to join our Engineering & Maintenance team in Lumut, Perak. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment within the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities on plant electrical installations.
• Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations and electrical safety requirements.
• Monitor electrical equipment performance and promptly rectify any abnormalities.
• Attend electrical breakdowns and minimize plant downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Participate in plant improvement, energy-saving, and reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for electrical maintenance work.
• Ensure safe work practices and adherence to company EHS policies and procedures.
• Support plant operations during shutdowns, projects, and emergency situations.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Chargeman Certificate (A0, A1, or A4) issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing, refinery, food processing, palm oil, or industrial environments.
• Good knowledge of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work on shifts, overtime, and standby duties when required.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
