THE QUALIFICATIONS WE SEEK:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related discipline, or currently completing a Law degree; Malaysian and international qualifications are welcome
- At least 3 years of experience managing high-stakes client relationships or technical stakeholders in a professional environment
- Background in a law firm or legal operations as a lawyer or senior paralegal is highly preferred
- Experience working with multicultural, multi-territory teams and international clients
- Experience supporting Australian lawyers and/or expert witnesses is an advantage
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills when engaging legal and technical stakeholders
- Solve complex problems independently using sound judgment
- Manage multiple active cases and shifting priorities with strong organizational skills
- Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Adapt quickly to diverse subject areas and learn new domains efficiently
- Handle pushback and resolve conflicts professionally
- Build trusted relationships with clients and expert witnesses
- Remain resilient, calm, and effective under pressure while meeting tight deadlines
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office applications
YOUR DAILY TASKS:
Driving Case Delivery
- Manage each case from start to finish, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budget
- Monitor case progress, identify potential risks, and drive timely resolution
- Translate client instructions, scope, and priorities into clear milestones for expert witnesses
- Track expert progress against agreed deliverables and timelines
- Negotiate fees, scope, commercial terms, and required prepayments with clients
- Resolve issues proactively and escalate only when necessary
- Partner with the Quality Assurance team to ensure reports meet quality and admissibility standards
Building Client Relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout each engagement
- Communicate updates proactively and manage client expectations effectively
- Identify and communicate changes or risks before they affect case outcomes
- Deliver practical solutions that strengthen client confidence
Building Expert Relationships
- Collaborate with the Sourcing team to identify the most suitable expert witnesses
- Support expert witnesses throughout each engagement based on their experience and working style
- Help expert witnesses build confidence and improve their effectiveness
Contributing to the Team
- Improve team processes and operational best practices
- Share knowledge, lessons learned, and process improvements across the business
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and fast-paced team culture
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
